New Jihae album, 'Fire Burning Rain' launches Sept 7th with a multi-media art exhibit and musical theater performance at Le Poisson Rouge.

Part art exhibit, part theatrical carnival, the evening's activities will encompass a multitude of experiences, including interactive musical manipulation through the use of Max/MSP software, exhibition of new artworks inspired by Jihae's compositions, and finally, a theatrical performance loosely based on Little Red Riding Hood as a dreamscape. Each element of the trifecta will represent one of the three themes that embody fire, burning and rain.

Visual and video artists include street art enfant terrible, Michael De Feo (who also created the cover art for Fire Burning Rain), Marco Brambilla, Ouattara Watts, John Newsom, Bob Partington, Rajan Mehta and numerous others.

The musical theater performance is a collaboration with acclaimed playwright/director John Patrick Shanley, and participants include choreography/video art duo, Leimay, and French performance artist, Aurelia Thierree.
